Janitor/Cleaner

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to keep all areas spotless.
• Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely following established safety protocols to ensure effective sanitation without hazards..
• Follow strict safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health regulations.
• Support additional custodial or maintenance tasks as needed, including industrial cleaning or residential painting projects.
• Areas include restrooms, office, manufacturing floor, kitchenand other areas as assigned or needed in relations to the janitorial needs.

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and other custodial tools effectively.
• Physical capability for lifting, manual handling, and prolonged standing or walking throughout shifts.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Customer service skills are a plus for engaging positively with staff and visitors when necessary.
