Janitor/Cleaner

Position details

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed cleaning of residential, commercial, and/or construction sites according to company checklists and standards.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, sanitize surfaces, clean restrooms, kitchens, offices, and common areas.
• Safely use cleaning products and equipment as trained and directed.
• Follow site-specific procedures for healthcare, rental, or specialty environments where applicable.
• Report any issues, damages, or safety concerns to your supervisor promptly.
• Maintain a professional attitude and appearance while representing Royal Cleaners at client locations.

Required qualifications

• Resume.
• At least 1 professional reference with Canadian work experience (cleaning or related field strongly preferred).
• Ability to legally work in Canada.
• Clear criminal background check (or willingness to obtain).
• Vulnerable sector check (or willingness to obtain) – priority requirement for this role.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks (standing, bending, lifting, repetitive motion).
• Basic English communication skills (spoken and written) to follow instructions and safety procedures.
