Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal to maintain cleanliness standards.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums efficiently and safely.
• Handle chemical agents with proper safety procedures to ensure effective sanitation while minimizing hazards.
• Maintain floors through mopping to preserve their appearance and durability.
• Follow established safety protocols during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are stored securely and maintained in good working order.
• Provide courteous customer service to building occupants or visitors as needed.

Skills

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial settings.
• Proficiency in cleaning techniques and familiarity with cleaning equipment including industrial cleaning tools.
• Knowledge of chemical handling safety procedures and sanitation standards.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on thoroughness in cleaning routines.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently.
• Good communication skills for effective interaction with team members and building occupants.
• Ability to adhere strictly to safety protocols during all custodial activities.
• Experience with industrial cleaning methods duties is advantageous.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
