Janitor/Cleaner

Overview

Join our Tejas Roadrunners team as a Part time- Janitor/Cleaner and play a vital role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment at a local office in Hillsboro, Tx. Your attention to detail and proactive approach will ensure that every space is spotless, organized, and compliant with safety protocols, creating a positive experience for all visitors and staff.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as brooms and vacuums. Provided by Tejas.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Conduct custodial tasks including trash removal, dusting, window washing, and sanitizing surfaces to uphold sanitation standards.
• Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to cleaning requests or facility concerns from staff or visitors.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical agent handling safety procedures.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, and prolonged periods of standing or walking.
• Strong adherence to safety protocols and safety protocol adherence during all tasks.
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness across multiple areas.
• Prior experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance is required; training will be provided for the right candidate.

Pay: $12.75 - $16.25 per hour

Expected hours: 20.0 – 30.0 per week
