Schedule: Sunday-Thurs 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
(Occasional schedule changes may apply based on property needs)

Job Summary

Peninsula Pines Apartments is seeking a dependable and hardworking Janitor to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents and staff. This role is essential to the overall appearance and upkeep of our community, both indoors and outdoors. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated, and able to prioritize tasks effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain common areas including leasing office, manager’s office, clubroom, kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry rooms
• Maintain exterior areas such as sidewalks, stairwells, trash areas, parking lots, driveways, carports, mailbox sites, walking paths, and building exteriors
• Ensure excellent curb appeal at all times
• Perform routine cleaning tasks including:
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and power washing
• Wiping down windows, rails, light fixtures, foyers, and vacant units
• Emptying garbage and replacing supplies
• Picking up pet waste
• Painting and brushing as needed
• Assist with seasonal tasks and special projects
• Follow instructions and work independently with minimal supervision

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and reach overhead
• Comfortable working in various weather conditions
• Able to bend, stoop, kneel, stretch, and crouch
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to climb stairs and ladders regularly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $21.00 per hour
