Janitorial Area Foreman

Job Title: Multi-Site Janitorial Area Foreman

Primary Territory: San Francisco and Oakland

Employment Classification: Nonexempt, union status pending CBA review

Reports To: Regional Manager

JOB SUMMARY:

The position of the Area Foreman requires employee to have ongoing interface communication with supervisor and management of the region to make sure all tasks are completed. The Foreman is responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory and timecards. The Foreman will be responsible for ordering supplies. The Foreman makes sure they follow and adhere to safety rules of the company and the customer buildings.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Foreman responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Maintains accurate records of his crew’s timesheets.

· Ensure employees adhere to company safety rules and rules of customer sites.

· Maintains inventory control of chemicals and supplies.

· Orders supplies as needed.

· Reports broken equipment to Management.

· Ensure all employees have proper uniforms.

· Attend emergency calls from customers.

· Performs utility work carpet cleaning-stripping/waxing hard surface floors as needed.

· Interfaces with building manager to obtain work orders, as needed.

· Other duties as assigned.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Make sure cleaning quality aligns with customer scopes of work.

· Keep accurate written records.

· Knowledgeable and able to perform all janitorial duties.

· Communicate effectively with building management, area supervisor, work crew.

· Keep inventory control

· Conduct quality control inspections via QC Software.

Pay: $26.81 - $32.29 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
