Job Summary

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of all areas including offices, restrooms, hallways, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment
• Operate floor buffers, scrubbers, vacuums, and other custodial tools to maintain floors in pristine condition
• Handle chemical agents safely by following proper handling procedures and safety protocols to prevent accidents or contamination
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks such as moving furniture or equipment while adhering to safe lifting practices
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces, trash removal, and restocking supplies regularly
• Assist with basic facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs or reporting issues promptly
• Follow safety protocols diligently to ensure a hazard-free environment for all employees and visitors

Qualifications

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or residential settings
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and floor care including buffing and polishing
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely with an understanding of chemical handling safety procedures
• Experience with manual handling and heavy lifting while maintaining safe lifting practices
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards staff and visitors
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or painting is a plus
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high standards of cleanliness

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
