Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Janitorial Site Lead to oversee night shift cleaning operations at our facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing cleaning staff, ensuring high standards of cleanliness, and providing exceptional customer service. This leadership role requires strong team management skills, custodial expertise, and effective communication to maintain a safe and efficient environment during evening hours (4pm-10pm).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage janitorial staff during the night shift, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and to quality standards
• Provide staff supervision, including training, scheduling, and performance management
• Oversee daily cleaning operations across designated areas, maintaining cleanliness and safety protocols
• Deliver excellent customer service by addressing client needs and ensuring satisfaction with cleaning services
• Coordinate with management to meet operational goals and implement cleaning procedures
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring proper usage and storage
• Enforce safety regulations and company policies to promote a secure work environment
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor cleanliness standards and address any issues promptly
• Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth shift operations

Qualifications

• Must speak English and Spanish
• Proven custodial or commercial cleaning experience with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety procedures
• Floor care experience with low and high-speed machines, scrubbers, buffers, etc.
• Prior experience in team supervision or staff management in a janitorial or facilities setting
• Excellent communication skills for managerial interactions and customer service excellence
• Ability to lead a team effectively during overnight hours, demonstrating reliability and organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to enforce quality standards
• Experience leading union members preferred

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25.0 – 30.0 per week
