Cleaning Supervisor / Lead Cleaner

Pay: $17.50 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Evening Shift

The Thoughtful Cleaners LLC is looking for a dependable, hardworking Cleaning Supervisor / Lead Cleaner to help oversee our evening cleaning operations at a local school facility.

This is a hands-on position. You will have your own assigned cleaning responsibilities while also helping ensure that the rest of the cleaning team completes their work properly and on time.

Responsibilities

• Clean your assigned building/area each evening
• Perform a nightly quality-control check of other assigned cleaning areas
• Make sure classrooms, bathrooms, hallways, carpets, and common areas are cleaned properly
• Make sure cleaning supplies, paper products, trash bags, and other materials are stocked
• Check that scheduled employees arrive and complete their assigned shifts
• Communicate with employees regarding attendance, assignments, and cleaning expectations
• Report any attendance, performance, supply, or building issues directly to management
• Help coordinate coverage if an employee is absent
• Make sure lights are turned off, doors are secured, and cleaning equipment is properly stored
• Maintain professional communication with management and other team members
• Take initiative when something needs to be corrected rather than waiting to be asked

Schedule

This position will generally work:

Monday–Friday
Approximately 5 hours per evening

Typical evening hours may begin around 4:00–6:00 PM, depending on school activities and cleaning needs.

Occasional additional hours may be available when extra cleaning or coverage is needed.

Pay

$17.50 per hour

Previous commercial cleaning or supervisory experience is preferred, but we are willing to consider candidates who demonstrate strong leadership, reliability, and work ethic.

Important

This is not a position for someone who only wants to complete their individual cleaning assignment and leave.

We are specifically looking for someone who is willing to take responsibility for the overall success of the evening cleaning team, communicate with management, check the quality of the work, and help make sure the facility is ready for the next school day.
