Duties

• Supervise and coordinate janitorial staff to ensure efficient cleaning and sanitation of all areas, including offices, restrooms, hallways, and industrial spaces
• Train new staff on proper cleaning techniques, safety procedures, and sanitation protocols in accordance with industry regulations
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure adherence to cleanliness, safety regulations, and sanitation standards
• Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; order replacements as needed to maintain operational efficiency
• Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership, and motivation
• Address customer service inquiries related to cleaning services promptly and professionally

Requirements

• Proven experience in custodial work with a strong background in commercial or industrial cleaning environments
• Demonstrated supervisory or team management experience within janitorial or facilities maintenance roles
• Knowledge of sanitation practices, safety regulations, and cleaning & sanitation management protocols
• Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide staff effectively
• Strong communication skills suitable for managerial interactions with team members and clients
• Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Experience with laundry services or hospitality cleaning is a plus but not required
