Job Overview

MNW Solutions LLC is seeking dependable, detail-oriented Janitorial Technicians to provide professional cleaning services at multiple client locations throughout the Portland metro area.

This is a route-based position, meaning employees may be assigned to clean multiple locations during the same shift. Employees will travel between assigned sites and are expected to arrive at each location on schedule, complete the required cleaning duties, and maintain MNW Solutions’ standards for cleanliness, safety, and professionalism.

This position is ideal for someone who can work independently, manage their time effectively, follow detailed cleaning procedures, and consistently provide high-quality service.

Responsibilities

• Travel between multiple assigned client locations during scheduled routes.
• Perform routine cleaning of offices, restrooms, waiting areas, hallways, breakrooms, and other common areas.
• Sweep, vacuum, mop, and maintain hard-surface and carpeted floors.
• Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, toilets, fixtures, counters, and other high-touch surfaces.
• Empty trash and replace liners as required.
• Dust and wipe furniture, fixtures, ledges, doors, and other surfaces.
• Clean interior glass, mirrors, windows, and entry areas as assigned.
• Properly use vacuums, mops, cleaning tools, and other janitorial equipment.
• Use cleaning chemicals according to manufacturer instructions and MNW Solutions safety procedures.
• Follow site-specific cleaning requirements, security procedures, and safety protocols.
• Complete assigned locations within the scheduled cleaning time while maintaining quality standards.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance concerns, safety hazards, supply shortages, or unusual conditions to management.
• Properly secure client locations after cleaning when required.
• Complete required timekeeping, site check-in/check-out, or service-verification procedures.
• Maintain professional conduct while interacting with clients, employees, patients, visitors, and members of the public.
• Perform additional janitorial duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Janitorial, commercial cleaning, or custodial experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written cleaning instructions.
• Ability to safely use cleaning chemicals and janitorial equipment.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform repetitive cleaning tasks.
• Ability to bend, reach, kneel, push, pull, and lift supplies or equipment as required for assigned duties.
• Ability to travel between multiple assigned work locations during a shift.
• Reliable transportation is required for route-based assignments.
• Ability to work evening, nighttime, weekend, and/or rotating schedules depending on assigned route.
• Professional and respectful communication with clients, coworkers, and visitors.
