Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, hallways, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers
• Handle chemical agents safely while cleaning, sanitizing surfaces, and maintaining hygiene standards according to safety protocols
• Conduct manual handling tasks including heavy lifting of supplies, furniture, or equipment following safe lifting practices
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; ensure proper storage and maintenance of tools
• Follow established safety procedures during all custodial activities to prevent accidents or injuries
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or safety hazards promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning and custodial services within commercial, industrial, or residential environments
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and chemical handling safety procedures
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment including vacuums, and other custodial tools effectively
• Excellent manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards in all areas
