Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, windows, restrooms, offices, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely, following all chemical handling safety procedures to prevent accidents or contamination.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks with safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed.
• Maintain sanitation standards by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal areas regularly.
• Assist with custodial responsibilities including replenishing supplies, trash removal, and minor maintenance tasks such as painting or repairs.
• Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while adhering to safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free environment.
• Support facilities maintenance activities by identifying issues requiring repair or attention and reporting them promptly.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial or industrial cleaning environments with strong custodial skills.
• Knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation standards, and the proper handling of chemical agents.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and other custodial tools effectively.
• Physical strength for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting while following safe lifting practices.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with staff and visitors when needed.
• Familiarity with safety protocols related to chemical handling and general facilities maintenance.
• Experience in residential painting or industrial cleaning is a plus for supporting diverse maintenance needs.

Pay: $1,300.00 per month
