Janitorial Worker

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both residential and commercial spaces.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, stripping, and waxing to ensure floors are well-maintained and presentable.
• Handle custodial duties in both residential and commercial settings, ensuring all areas are sanitized and organized.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed, including minor repairs and upkeep of equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and readily available for use.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents or injuries.
• Respond promptly to requests for cleaning or maintenance from staff or management.

Skills

• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
• Experience in commercial cleaning or industrial cleaning preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and facilities maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Good communication skills to interact with team members and management professionally.

Pay: $100.00 - $300.00 per day
