Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, surfaces, restrooms, and common areas using appropriate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers and scrubbers.
• Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning and sanitation procedures, adhering strictly to safety protocols and handling safety procedures.
• Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices to move furniture, supplies, or equipment as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, dusting, trash removal, and restocking supplies in designated areas.
• Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including minor repairs and residential painting to support overall building upkeep.
• Operate cleaning machinery efficiently while ensuring proper maintenance of equipment for optimal performance.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries or concerns from staff or visitors promptly and professionally.

Requirements

• Proven janitorial or custodial experience with knowledge of commercial or industrial cleaning techniques.
• Familiarity with cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers.
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely following chemical handling safety procedures.
• Strong manual handling skills with an understanding of safe lifting practices for heavy objects.
• Excellent attention to detail in sanitation and cleanliness standards across various environments.
• Good communication skills with a focus on customer service and teamwork.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced settings while maintaining safety protocol adherence.

Pay: $10.00 - $13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32.0 – 40.0 per week
