Janitorial Worker

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented part-time worker to join our team. Monday thru Friday evenings, 3 hours each night.The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a safe environment for all. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, contributing to the overall functionality of the facilities. Must have a valid drivers license, working vehicle, and live in the Orangeburg area.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming in assigned areas.
• Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure a clean and professional appearance.
• Handle waste disposal and recycling in accordance with company policies.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues.
• Provide support for industrial cleaning projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Collaborate with team members to complete larger cleaning tasks efficiently.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, notifying management when restocking is necessary.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
• Experience in commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
