Janitor/Maintenance

*Job Summary*

We are seeking a dedicated Janitor/Maintenance worker to help keep our Music, Dance, and Arts Academy performing its best! The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and orderly environment, ensuring that facilities are in good condition.

*Responsibilities*

• Perform custodial duties such as cleaning and sanitizing designated areas

• Conduct floor care including mopping, and vacuuming

• Handle commercial cleaning tasks in various areas including cleaning desks, offices, and musical instruments

• Support porter duties including trash removal and restocking supplies

• Maintain facilities by performing minor repairs and notifying management of major repairs

*Skills*

• Experience in custodial and maintenance work with extra care given to musical instruments and similar equipment throughout the facility

• Proficiency in floor care techniques including caring for our specialized Dance floor

• Familiarity with facilities maintenance procedures

• Ability and desire to perform cleaning tasks efficiently and consistently.

• Understanding that the cleanliness of our facility has a direct impact on the ability of our students to be successful

*Ideal Availability/Hours*

10 hours a week up to 5 days. Work in the early mornings

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
