About the role

The Janitress/Utility Staff is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation across all company facilities, including offices, work areas, hallways, restrooms, pantry, and common areas.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and maintain offices, work areas, hallways, restrooms, pantry, and common areas.
• Clean windows, doors, tables, chairs, and other fixtures as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper sanitation of restrooms.
• Refill soap, tissue, drinking water, and other necessary supplies.
• Collect and properly dispose of garbage and waste according to company procedures.
• Monitor and report low stocks of cleaning materials and supplies.
• Properly use and store cleaning equipment and chemicals.
• Immediately report spills, damaged facilities, leaks, or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Maintain cleanliness before, during, and after company events when required.
• Follow workplace health, safety, and sanitation procedures.

About you

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience as a janitress, housekeeping staff, utility worker, or cleaner is an advantage.
• Knowledge of proper cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Physically able to perform cleaning tasks and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Responsible, honest, reliable, and hardworking.
• Good time-management and organizational skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
