Japanese Application Support Engineer

Act as software detectives, provide a dynamic service identifying and solving issues within multiple components of critical business systems.

Summary: As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves investigating and diagnosing issues across various critical business systems to ensure smooth and uninterrupted operations. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems and collaborating with different teams to implement effective solutions. The position demands continuous monitoring and support to maintain system reliability and performance, contributing to the overall success of business processes. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather information and resolve system issues efficiently. - Document findings and solutions clearly to support knowledge sharing within the team. - Continuously update technical knowledge to stay current with evolving system components and technologies. Professional & Technical Skills: - Required Skill: Expert proficiency in Functional Test Planning. - Additional Good To Have Skills: Experience with Japanese Language. - Strong analytical skills to identify root causes of system issues and recommend appropriate fixes. - Ability to design and execute comprehensive test plans to validate system functionality. - Experience in coordinating with development and operations teams to ensure quality and stability of software releases. - Familiarity with software testing methodologies and defect tracking tools. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Functional Test Planning. - This position is based at our Manila office.
