Japanese Bilingual Application Support Engineer (JLPT N3/N2/N1)

About the role

Support and maintain enterprise Java applications by monitoring system performance, troubleshooting incidents, analyzing logs, and resolving complex production issues. Collaborate with cross-functional and Japan-based stakeholders to ensure application availability, stability, and service excellence. Drive incident resolution, perform root cause analysis, and implement continuous improvements to reduce system downtime.

About you

• Expert in Java Enterprise Edition (Java EE)
• Japanese language proficiency (JLPT N3, N2, or N1 required)
• Experience in application support, incident management, and production troubleshooting
• Strong knowledge of enterprise application architecture, middleware, and distributed systems
• Proficient in log analysis, debugging, and performance tuning
• Familiarity with monitoring and ticketing tools
• Experience supporting mission-critical enterprise applications (preferred)
• Ability to communicate technical issues effectively with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and clients (preferred)
