Japanese Interpreter

The Japanese Interpreter role supports clear and accurate communication between Japanese-speaking and Thai-speaking stakeholders during internal meetings, client discussions, and site visits. The position also provides written translation and assists project and commercial teams with project coordination, customer negotiations, audits, and related business activities.

Responsibilities

• Provide Japanese-Thai interpretation during internal meetings, client discussions, and site visits
• Translate technical documents, contracts, project schedules, and meeting minutes between Japanese, English, and Thai
• Support project managers in monitoring project milestones and assist commercial teams during customer negotiations, audits, and related business activities
• Facilitate effective communication between Japanese-speaking and Thai-speaking stakeholders to support smooth project execution

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Japanese, business administration, or a related field
• Business-level Japanese proficiency at JLPT N2 level or above
• Good command of English
• At least 1–2 years of experience in Japanese interpretation or a Japanese-speaking environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment
• Ability and willingness to travel internationally for business when required
• Ability to arrange independent transportation to and from the workplace
