Jaspersoft Developer

We are looking for an experienced Jaspersoft Developer with strong expertise in JasperReports, Oracle SQL/PLSQL, and Java technologies.

The selected candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing Jasper Reports based on prototype layouts and Oracle backend queries. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently while collaborating with stakeholders across different regions.

The candidate will also be expected to use GitHub Copilot as part of their day-to-day development activities to improve productivity, efficiency, and delivery quality.

Key ResponsibilitiesJasperReports Development

• Design and implement Jasper Reports based on prototype layouts and business requirements.
• Develop reports using Jaspersoft Studio.
• Work with JasperReports Server and JasperReports Library.
• Develop and optimize queries against Oracle databases.
• Analyze report requirements and translate them into appropriate report designs and specifications.
• Troubleshoot report generation and performance-related issues.

Oracle SQL / PL/SQL

• Develop and maintain Oracle SQL and PL/SQL queries required for reporting.
• Work with Oracle backend data to support reporting requirements.
• Analyze and troubleshoot database-related issues affecting reports.
• Apply database programming best practices.
• Knowledge of Oracle database administration and performance tuning will be an advantage.

Java & Backend Development

• Work with Java, Java Microservices, and Spring Boot as part of application and reporting-related development.
• Develop and maintain backend services where required.
• Work with REST APIs and SOAP Web Services.
• Apply standard software development principles and coding best practices.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across application and reporting components.

GitHub Copilot

• Use GitHub Copilot regularly during development activities.
• Leverage AI-assisted development to improve coding efficiency, quality, and delivery.
• Follow appropriate development and code-review practices when using AI-assisted coding tools.

Key Responsibilities & Collaboration

• Collaborate with business users, technical teams, and customers to identify report requirements.
• Design report features and technical specifications.
• Respond to technical queries and requests from team members and customers.
• Work independently while applying appropriate technical judgment to plan and execute assigned tasks.
• Coach, guide, and mentor junior team members.
• Participate in technical discussions and problem-solving activities.
• Perform additional responsibilities as assigned by the leadership team.

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹1,600,000.00 per year
