Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Java ADF Developer to develop, enhance, test, and maintain business applications in accordance with technical specifications, project timelines, and established Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) standards. The successful candidate will participate in project design discussions, perform comprehensive testing, coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure proper documentation and sign-off for application changes.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in project design discussions and contribute to technical solution development.
• Develop, enhance, and maintain business applications using Oracle ADF and Java within agreed project timelines.
• Ensure all development activities comply with established coding standards, project requirements, and SDLC methodologies.
• Prepare test plans and test data, and perform unit, modular, and integration testing.
• Coordinate UAT activities with business users and ensure testing completion and formal sign-off.
• Maintain complete and accurate documentation for all code changes, enhancements, and application updates.
• Assist in project scheduling, implementation planning, and post-implementation reviews.
• Collaborate with project teams and business stakeholders to resolve technical issues and deliver quality application solutions.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or an equivalent discipline.
• Minimum 6 years of development experience in Java ADF applications . Candidates with at least 6 years of Java development experience who are willing to transition to the ADF platform are also welcome to apply.
• Hands-on experience with Oracle ADF, preferably version 12c or above.
• Experience with Oracle ADF Faces, Task Flows, and ADF Business Components, including Application Modules (AM), View Objects (VO), and Entity Objects (EO).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet project deadlines.
• Experience in the insurance industry is an added advantage.

Technical Skills

• Oracle ADF Development (preferably 12c or above)
