Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on Senior Backend Java Developer with 8 to 10 years of professional experience to design, build, and scale robust backend applications and microservices. In this role, you will power our core financial platforms by developing secure, high-performance APIs and integrating complex data pipelines in a fast-paced enterprise environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable backend services and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot .
• Build, maintain, and optimize distributed microservices architecture.
• Write clean, maintainable code, manage database interactions, and ensure high backend performance and reliability.
• Integrate enterprise applications with messaging systems (such as Kafka) and distributed caching layers (such as Redis).
• Collaborate closely with product managers, system architects, and QA teams within an Agile/Scrum framework.
• Participate in thorough code reviews, enforce engineering best practices, and mentor junior developers.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience: 8–10 years of professional software development experience focusing on enterprise backend systems.
• Core Skills: Strong proficiency in Core Java (Java 8+), multithreading, concurrency, and object-oriented design principles.
• Frameworks: Extensive, hands-on experience building RESTful microservices using Spring Boot and the Spring ecosystem.
• Databases & Messaging: Solid relational database skills (SQL performance tuning) alongside experience with event-driven messaging tools (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
• DevOps & Tooling: Familiarity with Git, Maven/Gradle, CI/CD automated deployment pipelines, and containerized cloud environments (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Methodologies: Proven track record working in Agile/Scrum delivery teams.
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
