Position: Java Developer with AI Tools Experience

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with AI Tools Experience to join our team in Montreal. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in building production-grade backend applications, designing scalable distributed systems, and leveraging modern AI/Agentic AI tools to develop innovative solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance Java-based backend systems.
• Build scalable, reliable, and distributed applications for production environments.
• Develop and integrate AI-powered and Agentic AI solutions into business applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment.
• Optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Work with relational and document-oriented databases.
• Utilize Linux/Unix environments and scripting for development and deployment activities.
• Follow software engineering best practices, design patterns, and DevOps principles.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java and distributed system design.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design patterns.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL/document-oriented databases.
• Strong Linux/Unix and scripting skills.
• Experience with Agentic AI development, AI tools, or AI-driven applications.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
