Position Title: Java Backend Developer

Experience: 2–8 Years

Role Overview We are looking for a skilled and motivated Java Backend Developer with 2 to 8 years of experience in designing and developing modern enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate/JPA, and microservices architecture for backend services. This role requires experience in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems, with exposure to cloud-native development, containerized deployment models, and CI/CD-based automated deployments. The candidate should be comfortable working across backend business logic, APIs, databases, and deployment pipelines in an Agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain backend services, core business logic, and enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Hibernate/JPA.
• Design and implement microservices-based architecture for scalable and modular application development.
• Create and integrate RESTful APIs to support frontend teams, third-party integrations, and crossplatform application use cases.
• Work with relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or PostgreSQL, including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Contribute to cloud-native application development and deployment across environments using modern cloud and container platforms. Develop and support automated build, release, and deployment pipelines using CI/CD tools.
• Containerize backend applications using Docker and support orchestration/deployment using Kubernetes or similar platforms. Ensure application security, code quality, performance, scalability, and maintainability by following engineering best practices. Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization across the backend layer.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for application features, backend architecture, APIs, and deployment steps

Required Skills

Backend & Architecture

• Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate / JPA.
• Deep experience in developing REST APIs, microservices, and complex backend business services
• . Strong understanding of object-oriented programming, design principles, design patterns, and coding best practices.
• Experience with microservices architecture and event-driven patterns.

Database & Persistence

• Good knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
• Experience writing optimized SQL queries, handling data persistence effectively, and tuning database performance.

DevOps / Cloud / Deployment

• Exposure to cloud-native development.
• Experience with Docker and preferably Kubernetes.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
• Familiarity with Git and version control workflows.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Information Technology, B.Sc. - IT, or MCA. Ideal Candidate Profile The ideal candidate is a hands-on backend developer who can contribute effectively to server-side architecture and system development. They should be comfortable working on Java-based backend systems, microservices-driven platforms, relational databases, and automated deployment pipelines. The candidate should be eager to learn, adaptable to evolving technologies, and capable of delivering reliable solutions in a fast-paced environment.
