Java Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Own 2–3 microservices, including App/Main, ASM, BSS, Misc/Data, Push Notification, Email Notification, Scheduler, and Exporter controllers.
• Understand, document, and improve existing business logic across microservices.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable REST APIs.
• Implement Kafka producers and consumers for push and email notifications.
• Integrate with BSS, ASM, ATG, JID/RID, FCM/Firebase, email systems, and Vault.
• Write clean, well-tested code with unit, integration, and regression tests.
• Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Maintain Helm charts and Kubernetes deployment configurations.
• Support L3/L4 production issues.
• Contribute to technical documentation, test strategies, and architecture reviews.

Required Skills:

• 5+ years of backend development experience and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Strong Java and Spring Boot skills for microservices development.
• Apache Kafka: Producers, consumers, topic management, and consumer groups.
• MySQL: Complex queries, transactions, indexing, and performance tuning.
• Docker and Kubernetes: Pods, ConfigMaps, Secrets, and resource limits.
• REST API design using OpenAPI and Swagger.
• JWT, OAuth2, and token-based authentication.
• Firebase/FCM push notification integration.
• Git, CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, or ArgoCD), and Helm charts.
• Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work across time zones and meet deadlines.

Good to Have:

• Spring Cloud, Spring Batch, or Spring Scheduler.
• HashiCorp Vault and Strimzi Operator (Kafka on Kubernetes).
• Prometheus, Micrometer, Grafana, Jaeger, or Zipkin.
• Telecom domain experience, including BSS/OSS provisioning and parent-child account management.
• ELK or Loki, APM tools (New Relic, Dynatrace, Datadog), Istio, or Envoy.
• JUnit 5, Mockito, and Testcontainers.
• CKAD certification.

Pay: ₹346,000.00 - ₹500,000.00 per year
