Java Backend Developer (Spring Boot, Kafka & REST APIs)

Job Title: Application Developer – Java Web Technologies
Work Set-up & Location: Hybrid (2–3 days Return to Office and 2 days Work From Home) – UP Ayala Land Technohub, Quezon City
Work Schedule: Mid Shift or Night Shift
Employment Type: 1-Year Contract (Highly Subject to Renewal)
Salary Offer: PHP 110,000 per month

KEY EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS:

• 4–5 years of relevant experience in Java application development.
• Solid experience in Java Web Technologies (J2EE) and REST/SOAP Web Services.
• Strong hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for messaging and event-driven application integration.
• Proficiency in J2EE, HTTP Protocol, and JAX-RS.
• Experience with REST frameworks such as Spring Boot, Jersey, or RESTEasy.
• Knowledge of OAuth security and authentication mechanisms for securing APIs.
• Experience using Git or RTC for version control and source code management.
• Understanding of Clean Code principles and software development best practices.
• Knowledge of SQL and MySQL for database querying and application integration.
• Familiarity with design patterns and Microservices architecture is an advantage.
