Java Backend Developer with DevOps

Project Description:

• We're seeking an experienced Java Developer for one of our Banking Customer to work on a Trading application.
• Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain Java-based applications and microservices.
• Design and deploy monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Ensure security best practices are followed throughout all stages of development and deployment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in development, test, and production environments.
• Collaborate with software engineers, QA analysts, and product teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in Java development and DevOps.

Mandatory Skills Description:

• 10+ years of overall experience
• Java Development - Strong backend Java skills in Microservices, Spring Boot, Collections, Low Latency, Multithreading, and Concurrency
• Infrastructure & DevOps
• Good Understanding of:
• • Deployment processes and how to deploy code to servers
• • Server connectivity and management
• • Basic system resource management (RAM, CPU allocation)
• • Containerization (Kubernetes, Podman)
• • Pipeline creation and CI/CD processes
• • Experience in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud

Nice-to-Have Skills Description:

• Banking domain experience
• Financial markets background and worked on trading systems
• UI/ReactJS experience for front-end
