We are looking for someone with key skills and able to perform the following roles & responsibilities :-

Java Backend Developer with DevOps

Gothenburg, Sweden

What you will do:

Develop and maintain backend services and supporting components in a cloud-native environment.

Take an active role in operating services in production and ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance.

Monitor and troubleshoot production systems and take part in incident investigation and resolution.

Improve observability through logging, metrics, monitoring, and alerting.

Automate operational tasks and improve deployment and operational processes.

Contribute to root cause analysis and implement actions that prevent recurring incidents.

Collaborate closely with developers, architects, quality assurance, and other stakeholders to continuously improve the service. Take ownership of problems end-to-end and help drive them to resolution.

We are looking for:

We are looking for a developer who also enjoys getting close to the operation of the system. You don't need to be a pure operations specialist, but you should be comfortable taking responsibility and drive improvements in production.

You are highly skilled in:

Software development in Java Azure DevOps practices and CI/CD.

Containers and cloud-native technologies.

Monitoring, logging and observability.

Troubleshooting distributed systems and production issues.

Automation and scripting.

Git and modern software development practices.
