Java Backend Engineer

Job Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team on daily requirement analysis, technical design and development.
• Design, develop and maintain web scraping / web crawler systems to collect required data from various websites.
• Develop and maintain RPA (Robotic Process Automation) scripts to automate business processes and improve operational efficiency.
• Support the production environment, including troubleshooting technical and system issues.
• Perform system performance optimization to improve system efficiency, stability and reliability.
• Work closely with team members to understand business requirements and deliver practical technical solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least 2 years of Java backend development experience.
• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Good understanding of commonly used design patterns.
• Proficient in Spring Boot.
• Proficient in SQL and backend database development.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kafka.
• Hands-on knowledge of Redis.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills for backend and production systems.
• Able to read Chinese and communicate in basic Chinese, as the role requires communication with Chinese-speaking stakeholders.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience in web scraping / web crawler development.
• Experience designing systems that collect data from websites.
• Experience with RPA tools or RPA script development.
• Experience developing automation solutions that improve business operational efficiency.
