Java Developer (Banking)

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based banking applications, with a focus on account opening, tax reporting, and regulatory compliance modules.

• Perform system enhancement, debugging, and application support to ensure system stability and performance.

• Translate business requirements into technical specifications and deliver high-quality code in accordance with development standards.

• Develop and maintain systems related to Customer Due Diligence (CDD), Common Reporting Standard (CRS), and Customer Scoring / Risk Assessment.

• Support and enhance banking tax systems, ensuring compliance with local and international regulatory requirements.

• Participate in code reviews, technical documentation, and knowledge sharing to maintain high development standards.

• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for production issues as needed.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 8 years of hands-on experience in Java development, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Programming skills in Java, JavaScript, Vue.js, HTML, CSS, and Linux shell scripting.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring Boot, Spring MVC, etc.).
• Good knowledge of database technologies, including DB2, MySQL, and SQL Server.
• Familiarity with Linux, JBoss, Tomcat, and Flowable Engine.
• Experience in application support, debugging, and system enhancement.
• Banking industry experience is preferable.
