Java Developer- CLT

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer for an on-site opportunity in Charlotte, NC. This role focuses on developing new application functionality, enhancing existing features, and supporting production applications.

The developer will work under the guidance of a Senior Developer and should be comfortable completing tasks independently and collaborating with a team.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement application code based on sprint stories and business requirements.
• Develop new functionality and enhance existing applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Framework.
• Work with Hibernate and JPA for persistence and interaction with Oracle databases.
• Develop and maintain RESTful services.
• Monitor production applications, troubleshoot issues, and implement fixes to maintain application stability and intended functionality.
• Identify root causes of application issues and deliver corrective solutions.
• Collaborate with the Senior Developer and other team members to complete sprint deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of Java development experience, with hands-on experience using Java 8 and Java 21.
• Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Strong experience with Hibernate and JPA, including entity relationships, data persistence, and interaction with Oracle databases.
• Experience developing and maintaining RESTful services.
• Ability to troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Preferred Qualification

• Experience with Camunda.
