Job Summary

Requirements

• 5-8 years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot.
• Proven experience designing and developing RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Strong understanding of JPA, design patterns, object-oriented programming, and system design principles.
• Hands-on experience with relational databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with Git or other version control systems.
• Good knowledge of Maven and/or Gradle build tools.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies, including Scrum and/or Kanban.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills with a positive, ownership-driven approach.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional engineering team.
• Exposure to Microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Basic knowledge of AWS or other cloud platforms.
• Frontend development exposure using React or Angular.
• Experience with NoSQL databases.
• Exposure to containerization or modern cloud-native development practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business and technical requirements and implement effective application solutions.
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable Java/J2EE code.
• Participate in application architecture, technical design, and solution discussions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application defects and technical issues within defined timelines.
• Follow established coding standards, development best practices, and engineering guidelines.
• Develop and maintain unit and integration testing strategies to ensure application quality.
• Provide Level II production support, troubleshoot incidents, and contribute to root cause analysis and resolution.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and deliver assigned features within agreed timelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of CI/CD pipelines and software delivery processes.
• Collaborate with Application Architects and senior engineers to ensure solutions are scalable, secure, and maintainable.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or an equivalent bachelors degree.
