Java Developer – Java / Spring BootJob Overview

We are looking for a Java Developer to join our technology team and contribute to the design, development, testing, and maintenance of enterprise-level applications. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot and is comfortable working in an Agile software development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Design and implement clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on business and technical requirements.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, Project Managers, QA Engineers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and follow established development standards and best practices.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues and production defects.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure application reliability.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to technical design discussions and recommend appropriate solutions.
• Work with databases and ensure efficient data access and application performance.
• Support application deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.
• Create and maintain technical documentation when required.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional experience in Java development or a related software development role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience developing REST APIs and microservices.
• Good understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, design patterns, and software development best practices.
• Experience working with relational databases and SQL.
• Familiarity with Git and source control practices.
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Spring Framework, Spring Data JPA, and Hibernate.
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, or CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Familiarity with messaging technologies such as Kafka or RabbitMQ is an advantage.
• Experience working with enterprise-scale applications or distributed systems is preferred.

Pay: Php50,000.00 - Php70,000.00 per month
