Roles and Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain software services and libraries that support customer supply chains and customer-facing operations.
• Collaborate with executives and product managers to determine the best technical solutions to address customer problems.
• Document systems and code for team use, including models and diagrams.
• Conduct unit and load testing to ensure software correctness, performance, and scalability.
• Debug production issues to restore customer operations promptly.
• Understand requirements, seek clarity when necessary, and develop high-quality code.
• Analyze code to identify and correct errors; assess user needs to determine technical requirements.
• Participate in software design and project meetings, providing timely updates on progress, risks, and issues.
• Join the on-call rotation for support issues during business hours.

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, And Skills

• Strong background in Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in developing RESTful APIs.
• Database management experience with both relational and non-relational databases.
• Basic knowledge of infrastructure tools such as S3, SNS, SQS, and Lambda.
• Experience with automated test creation.
• Intermediate skills in Excel and data manipulation.
• Ability to read and understand third-party documentation and build APIs to those specifications

Personal Skills

• Python scripting experience
• Experience with low-latency systems
• Familiarity with AWS services (S3, SNS, SQS, Lambda)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines
• Proficiency in Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience with microservices architecture
• Strong Git skills for version control
