Java Developer

Position Overview

• We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with 4–5 years of hands-on experience in building scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of microservices, API development, PostgreSQL, and modern software development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust backend applications using Java 8+ and Spring Boot.
• Develop and integrate RESTful APIs and microservices.
• Design and implement efficient database solutions using PostgreSQL.
• Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including development, testing, debugging, and deployment.
• Use Git for source code management and follow standard version-control practices.
• Manage development tasks, issues, and workflows using Jira.
• Work in Linux environments and perform basic scripting when required.
• Support and work with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-oriented development workflows.
• Collaborate with technical and business teams to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
• Troubleshoot application issues and contribute to continuous improvement of system performance and reliability.

Required Skills & Experience

• 4–5 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java 8+.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot.
• Practical experience in Microservices architecture and API development.
• Good working knowledge of PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Git for version control.
• Experience using Jira for task and issue tracking.
• Basic knowledge of Linux and scripting.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern development workflows.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Good to Have

• Prior experience developing or supporting B2C applications.
• Basic knowledge or experience in frontend development.
• Understanding of modern software architecture and cloud-native development practices.
