Job Responsibilities

1. Use the code2code tool from the tooling team for code translation and conduct reviews on newly generated code.
2. Carry out microservice development.
3. Develop subsequent new features.

Job Requirements

1. Able to use English as the working language for daily written communication and basic verbal interaction.
2. Proficient in Java 21: in-depth understanding of Virtual Threads principles, limitations, and potential risks (Pinning) when used with ThreadLocal/Synchronized; familiar with generational tuning for ZGC or G1.
3. Strong code reading skills, capable of sorting out legacy business logic in JSP and Spring Webflow, with hands-on experience refactoring them into RESTful microservices.
4. Proficient in the internals of Spring Boot 3, with practical experience in smooth migration from older versions to SB3/JDK 21.
5. Experience in distributed development; skilled in distributed task scheduling with Quartz.
6. Proficient in advanced Oracle features (e.g., RAC load balancing configuration, index optimization, large table partitioning), able to handle complex transaction scenarios.
7. Expertise in Redis architecture design and high-availability solutions.
8. Proficient in the Jakarta Messaging (JMS) ecosystem, able to resolve issues of IBM MQ in container environments including long connection management, connection pool flapping and distributed data consistency.
9. Deep understanding of Kubernetes Native patterns (Service discovery, graceful shutdown, probe optimization). Skilled in using Micrometer/Prometheus/OpenTelemetry to identify performance bottlenecks in distributed traces.
10. Familiar with Tekton (OpenShift Pipelines) or Jenkins; able to build optimized container images for JDK 21 (multi-stage builds, Distroless images).
11. Solid foundation in design patterns; capable of reducing system complexity via code refactoring, with the ability to mentor junior and mid-level developers.
12. Skilled in writing high-quality unit and integration tests using JUnit 5 and Mockito.
