What they need
- This role is focused on supporting a Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) upgrade initiative through Java version upgrades, framework compatibility remediation, and application refactoring
- The developer will be responsible for migrating applications to newer Java versions, such as Java 11 or 17, while analysing and fixing deprecated APIs and breaking changes
- Key technical duties include working on Java-based integrations with Oracle BRM using PCM APIs and custom extensions, as well as modifying components that interact with billing pipelines and invoicing flows
- A successful candidate must demonstrate deep expertise in the JVM, multithreading, and Spring Boot, alongside the ability to resolve complex version conflicts in Maven or Gradle
- Additionally, the role involves updating build pipelines and ensuring the stability of custom Java utilities and batch jobs throughout the upgrade lifecycle
