We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join our software engineering team and contribute to the development of enterprise-grade applications and integrations.

Job Summary

The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining Java-based applications, services, APIs, and integrations. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Java development, software design, troubleshooting, and Agile delivery methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain Java-based applications, services, APIs, and integrations.
• Analyze functional and technical requirements and translate them into scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Develop high-quality source code, configuration updates, unit tests, and technical documentation following established development standards.
• Participate in technical design discussions, code reviews, sprint planning, backlog refinement sessions, demonstrations, and project status reviews.
• Perform unit and integration testing to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Support system testing and user acceptance testing (UAT), investigate defects, and implement corrective actions.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application, interface, data integration, performance, and deployment-related issues.
• Support application deployments, production stabilization activities, and defect resolution as required.
• Identify, communicate, and help mitigate technical risks, dependencies, constraints, and project blockers.
• Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and technical personnel.
• Provide knowledge transfer, documentation, and transition support as needed.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in Java application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development practices.
• Experience troubleshooting complex application and integration issues.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in enterprise-scale application development environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to messaging frameworks such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience supporting large-scale business applications and integrations.
