Java Developer (Eclipse)

Local Availability: This position requires onsite work in the Columbia area. Candidates must currently reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the worksite (approximately 30–45 minutes) and be able to meet the onsite requirements. Relocating candidates must be established locally before submission.

Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's degree-in Computer Science or Information Technology

Minimum Required Work Experience: 8 years-of application development, systems testing or other job related experience.

Required Technologies:

• Java development using Eclipse
• Oracle DB experience
• Hibernate 3.0+
• Spring Framework 3.x, 5.x, 6.x
• Jenkins and GitHub
• Agile SCRUM

Day to Day:

• Responsible for analysis, design, programming, and implementation of the most complex applications tasks and projects in the area.
• Devise feasible, logical procedures to resolve business problems through the use of computer resources.
• Formulate scope and objectives through research to develop or modify complex systems.
• Provide technical direction and support in the development and support of business systems software and procedures. Design, code, test and debug the most complex application programs.
• Responsible for Java development and Oracle DB updates
