Java Developer (Kafka)

Position: Java Developer

About the Role:

We are looking for a Java Developer with strong expertise in enterprise-grade application development, microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and payment/banking domain solutions. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, PostgreSQL, Kafka, and AI-powered developer tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude. Experience in cards & payments, banking systems, and high-volume transaction processing is highly preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance Java applications.
• Build and enhance RESTful APIs and microservices using Spring Boot.
• Develop event-driven architectures leveraging Apache Kafka.
• Design and optimize PostgreSQL database schemas, queries, and stored procedures.
• Participate in the complete SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Product Owners, Architects, and QA teams in Agile environments.
• Implement secure, resilient, and highly available solutions for banking and payment platforms.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot and Claude to improve productivity, code quality, and delivery efficiency.
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis.
• Ensure adherence to coding standards, security best practices, and performance optimization guidelines.

• Strong experience in Java 8/11/17+
• Hands-on expertise in Spring Boot
• Experience with Microservices Architecture
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs

• Knowledge of JPA/Hibernate
• Experience with Maven/Gradle
• Understanding of Design Patterns and Object-Oriented Programming
