Java Developer (Spring Boot)

Experience: 5+ Years

Location: Mumbai-Olympus/Kolkata

Must Have experience in React and Spring Boot

1. Develop Spring Boot microservices (latest Java) to replace/modernize legacy business components as per sprint backlog.
2. Build REST APIs (OpenAPI), validations, exception handling and API security patterns.
3. Implement persistence using JPA/Hibernate/Spring Data; develop/tune SQL for PostgreSQL and support DB migration fixes.
4. Develop/maintain Spring Batch jobs (where applicable) including parameterization, retries and audit logging.
5. Support JasperReports integration where required (templates/parameters/exports).
6. Write unit/integration tests (JUnit/Mockito/Testcontainers) and comply with SonarQube and SAST gates.
7. Package using Docker and assist with Helm/Kubernetes (AKS) deployment updates; collaborate with DevOps on CI/CD.
8. Support SIT/UAT defects, runbook updates and KT; use AI tools for documentation/LLD templates/code scaffolding with peer review.
