Java Developer (Springboot )

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build, enhance, and optimize RESTful APIs and microservices based on business and technical requirements.
• Modify and improve existing backend services to increase performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Integrate backend applications with enterprise systems, databases, and third-party APIs.
• Ensure secure, reliable, and efficient communication across microservices and external systems.
• Support API integrations across multiple platforms and external service providers.
• Monitor application performance and ensure smooth operation in high-volume transactional environments.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and optimize application code, database interactions, and service response times.
• Develop clean, efficient, reusable, and maintainable code following established coding standards and best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure high-quality deliverables through comprehensive testing and validation.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts, UI Developers, QA Engineers, Architects, and other stakeholders.
• Work effectively with cross-functional teams within telecom and/or eCommerce environments.
• Participate actively in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation for APIs, integrations, modules, and system architecture.
• Document enhancements, technical decisions, implementation details, and service modifications.
• Provide timely updates on development progress, risks, and deliverables.

Requirements and Skills

• 5-9 years of experience in Java backend development.
• Strong proficiency in Core Java and Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and Microservices Architecture.
• Strong experience in designing, developing, and optimizing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Spring MVC and Spring JDBC frameworks.
• Strong understanding of software design principles, design patterns, and backend architecture.
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MongoDB.
• Knowledge of database design, query optimization, and performance tuning techniques.
• Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong documentation and stakeholder management capabilities.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Experience with Apache Camel integration framework.
• Exposure to telecom and/or eCommerce domain projects.
• Knowledge of application monitoring, logging, and performance management tools.
