Java Developer (Springboot in Banking)

About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer to join our team in the banking industry. The ideal candidate has strong experience in Java development, Spring Boot, Redis, and Apache Kafka, with a focus on building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend applications to support banking systems and services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 4+ years of strong programming experience in Java springboot.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Experience implementing Redis for caching or data management.
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka, including producers, consumers, topics, and event-driven architecture.
• Experience developing and integrating RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, transaction processing, and system performance optimization.
• Experience with Git and CI/CD tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience in the banking or financial services industry is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and manage RESTful APIs and microservices to support banking applications.
• Implement Redis for caching and performance optimization.
• Develop and maintain event-driven applications using Apache Kafka for asynchronous messaging and real-time data processing.
• Integrate backend services with databases and other banking systems.
• Ensure application security, scalability, reliability, and performance.
• Perform unit testing, debugging, troubleshooting, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Analysts, QA Engineers, DevOps Engineers, and other developers.
• Follow coding standards, software development best practices, and banking security requirements.
