Java Developer| Shifting

We are looking for an experienced Senior Java Developer to develop, maintain, and enhance enterprise applications. The role involves hands-on Java development, REST API integration, application troubleshooting, and system improvements. The successful candidate will analyze technical requirements, resolve complex issues, ensure code quality, and collaborate with clients, business users, and technical teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, debug, and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
• Design and integrate REST APIs and enhance existing applications.
• Troubleshoot complex application issues, conduct root-cause analysis, and implement corrective solutions.
• Analyze business requirements and change requests, translating them into technical specifications.
• Perform unit testing and ensure code quality, application reliability, and performance.
• Coordinate with clients, end users, and project teams on technical requirements and progress updates.
• Prepare technical documentation and support knowledge transfer.
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to team members when needed.

Job Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• At least 5 years of Java development experience, including application analysis and troubleshooting.
• Strong hands-on experience with Java 8/17, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, and Spring Security, including CSRF.
• Experience with REST APIs, legacy Spring Framework, JSF/JSP, and full-stack development fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL, Apache Tomcat 10.1, Maven, and Ant.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps, TFS, Git Flow, and Agile Scrum.
• Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, coding standards, and separation of concerns.
• Knowledge of JavaScript and CSS for frontend-related technical discussions.
• C#/.NET experience, business process knowledge, and mentoring experience are advantageous.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.
• Able to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver within agreed timelines.
