As a Senior Java Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering world-class web and mobile applications while contributing throughout the Software Development Life Cycle. Key Responsibilities Develop enterprise-grade web and mobile applications for leading organisations. Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle, including design, analysis, scoping, estimation, and delivery. Drive improvements in software quality through modern engineering practices, DevOps principles, continuous integration, and automation. Research and implement emerging technologies that create business value. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to solve complex business challenges. Mentor and support fellow developers while promoting engineering best practices. Build strong customer relationships and understand business requirements. Manage stakeholder expectations and identify opportunities for service improvements. Ensure compliance with security standards, governance requirements, and industry regulations. Job Experience and Skills Required Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field. Minimum 6 years of software engineering experience within an enterprise environment. Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, clean code principles, and development best practices. Experience working across various technologies and frameworks. Ability to architect and structure projects within enterprise environments. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Customer-facing experience with strong stakeholder engagement capabilities. Ability to adapt to new technologies, frameworks, and tools. Experience working within Agile delivery environments. Comfortable working within a hybrid environment. Technical Environment Java, Spring, and Spring Boot. Front-end technologies including Angular, React, and Vue. ORM technologies including JPA, Spring Data, and Hibernate. Relational databases including Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and MySQL. Non-relational databases including MongoDB and Cosmos DB. Build tools including Maven and Gradle. Cloud platforms including Azure and AWS. Infrastructure as Code technologies including Terraform, Bicep, and AWS CDK.
