Java Devops Engineer

Role & responsibilities

We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of a Senior Java Developer.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:

• 810 years of professional software development experience.

• Strong Core Java knowledge — familiar with design patterns (SOLID) and modern frameworks.

• Spring (Core / Boot) 4+ hands-on experience.

• React-JS (desired).

• MySQL — strong SQL and relational database working knowledge, including query writing.

• Unit testing with JUnit, Mockito, JMock, or JMockit.

• Experience on GCP, including the following components:

• Google Compute Engine

• Google Cloud Storage

• Google Cloud SQL

• Stackdriver

• Google Load Balancing

• Elasticsearch

• Ability to use DevOps tooling (Ansible / Jenkins / Airflow / ELK).

• Continuous integration and build solutions (Maven / Jenkins).

• Good communication skills — this role requires interaction with business and stakeholders; you should be proactive and self-motivated.

• Knowledge of Agile / Scrum ways of working.
