Duties

• Develop, enhance, and maintain robust backend systems using Java, ensuring seamless integration with front-end components and third-party APIs.
• Design system architecture and participate in system design discussions to optimize scalability, performance, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement RESTful APIs, web services (SOAP), and microservices architectures aligned with project requirements.
• Conduct unit testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to deliver high-quality code that adheres to best practices.
• Utilize version control tools such as GitHub, TFS, or SVN to manage code repositories efficiently within the SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
• Participate actively in Agile software development processes including Scrum meetings, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
• Work with cloud infrastructure platforms like AWS or Azure to deploy and manage applications in distributed computing environments.

Requirements

• Proven experience in Java development with a strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles.
• Hands-on knowledge of front-end development frameworks such as React, Angular, or Bootstrap for UI integration.
• Familiarity with ASP.NET Core,.NET frameworks, or similar technologies is a plus for full-stack collaboration.
• Experience working with relational databases like SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL or NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Proficiency in web development technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript, JSON/XML data formats.
• Strong understanding of system design for system development including UML diagrams and application architecture patterns like microservices and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS or Azure), CI/CD pipelines, containerization tools (Docker), and automation scripting (Shell Scripting).
• Ability to work effectively within Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent debugging skills combined with experience using IDEs like Visual Studio or Eclipse for efficient development workflows.
• Familiarity with application security best practices and experience developing scalable APIs using RESTful API standards.
