Java Full Stack Engineer

Job Title: Sr. Java Full Stack Engineer

Work Location: Remote (Preference for candidates in the Dallas, Salt Lake City, Orlando, Washington DC, and Philadelphia areas.)

Duration: Contract with option to hire

Education/Experience Required: Minimum of 5 years in SaaS product development or FDA-regulated medical device settings. AWS experience is advantageous.

Job Description & Responsibilities :

• Design, develop, and sustain web applications across front-end and back-end frameworks using Java, Angular, and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with teams, mentor junior engineers, and uphold high coding standards in a regulated environment.
• Engage in all phases of solution development, from conception to deployment, ensuring alignment with business processes.
• Promote and implement automated processes, continuous integration, and deployment pipelines.
• Conduct code reviews and validate software for quality assurance.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Proficiency in Java, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Experience with Angular, Spring Boot, Postgres, Docker, Git, Kubernetes, and Kafka.
• Understanding of Domain Driven Design, Event Driven Architecture, and Reactive Programming is beneficial.
• Experience in agile methodologies and remote teamwork.
• Familiarity with tools like Jira, Git/Gitlab, and experience in Behavior Driven Development.
• Experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) and AI tools in engineering is a plus.
• Background in biomedical, healthcare, or regulated environments is advantageous.
